With a club or organization, I want to volunteer consistently. I know how much volunteering can impact people, and by contributing my time to others, I can make someone’s day. I plan to volunteer throughout my college career at Ohio State. As an Eagle Scout, and with my future leadership experiences, I will be better prepared for my professional career. ![]() Whatever career I end up going into, I will always need to have strong leadership qualities. Knowing and displaying traits of good leadership, including delegation and respect, have led me to understand there are times to lead and times to be led. Through these experiences, I have learned how to lead efficiently and in a way that produces the best result. With this major, I plan to work with plant growers and other companies to help with sustainability and reduced waste.Īs an Eagle Scout, I have had countless experiences of leading and experiencing leadership. With Biological Engineering, I can help with plants and how people source food and help the environment, and to me, this seems like an important major to pursue. ![]() Additionally, I could become involved in research experiences through an internship in which I would learn about a specific subject and how it contributes to society.īiological Engineering is my intended major because I have always had an interest in making and contributing to the things that people use daily. Ideally, I would like to work with botany and the environment, but I am open to anything in which I will be contributing to making a difference. I plan to get involved with research at Ohio State through my intended major, Biological Engineering. By studying abroad, I will be able to fulfill some of my interests and experience things I would never otherwise get to experience. Europe is my number one choice for studying abroad, and I think I would enjoy the Netherlands or England the most. My decision to study abroad comes from my interest in learning about other people, other cultures, and other countries. While I am at Ohio State I plan to complete a study abroad experience.
